COMPREHENSIVE PRIVACY NOTICE AND EVENT TERMS
I. PRIVACY NOTICE
1. Identity and Address of the Data Controller
The Organizing Committee of the Gran Encuentro Internacional de Gas Natural, jointly formed by the Asociación Mexicana de Gas Natural, A.C. (AMGN) and Tecnológico de Monterrey (hereinafter "The Organizers"), located at Avenida Ejército Nacional Mexicano No. 826-A, First Floor, Department 103, Colonia Polanco, C.P. 11550, Mexico City, is responsible for the processing and protection of your personal data in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares - LFPDPPP).
2. Personal Data Collected
General Contact Information: First name(s), Last name(s), Email address (institutional or corporate), Mobile phone / WhatsApp, State or Province.
Affiliation / Profile Information:
Academia: Educational institution, institutional relationship (student, faculty, researcher, alumnus/alumna, administrative staff), level of studies, and degree/field of specialization.
Private Sector: Name of company or organization, current job title/position, and energy subsector specialization.
Public Sector / Government: Government agency or entity, division/department, job title/position, and level of government (federal, state, municipal).
3. Purposes and Use of Collected Information
Your personal data will be used expressly for the following purposes:
Primary Purposes (Necessary for event management):
Process, validate, and confirm your registration as a formal attendee of the event.
Send registration confirmations, digital access passes, and QR code entry badges for access to the venue at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Santa Fe.
Send operational communications, logistics notices, agenda reminders, and program updates via email and/or WhatsApp.
Manage capacity control and ensure security within the venue.
Issue and send corresponding certificates of attendance or participation upon conclusion of the event.
Secondary Purposes (Optional):
Send newsletters and relevant information regarding future editions of the event, congresses, workshops, forums, and related activities organized by AMGN or Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Conduct satisfaction surveys, event evaluations, and statistical or sector-impact studies.
If you do not wish for your data to be used for secondary purposes, you may submit a request by sending an email to amgn-principal@amgn.org.mx.
4. Use of Cookies, Web Beacons, and Tracking Technologies
We inform you that our website and registration form use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies that allow us to monitor your internet user behavior to provide a better browsing experience and optimize the portal. The collected data includes: browser type, operating system, originating IP address, visited pages, and interaction time. These technologies can be disabled directly through your web browser's configuration options.
5. Links to Third-Party Websites
The registration portal may contain links or hyperlinks to third-party platforms, social media networks, or tools (including automation platforms such as Zapier or institutional partner websites). This Privacy Notice applies exclusively to the official event portal. The Organizers assume no responsibility for the privacy policies, data management, or content of such external sites; therefore, we suggest reviewing the individual privacy notices of each platform upon accessing them.
6. Data Transfer
Your personal data will only be shared internally between AMGN and Tecnológico de Monterrey to coordinate logistics, access control, and academic aspects of the event. No transfers will be made to third parties outside the organization without your prior consent, except for the exceptions provided under Article 37 of the LFPDPPP.
7. ARCO Rights and Revocation of Consent
To exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, or Opposition (Derechos ARCO), or to revoke consent for the use of your data, you must send a written request to the official email address: amgn-principal@amgn.org.mx.
II. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Free Admission and Capacity: The event is free of charge upon prior registration. Final access confirmation is subject to the room capacity at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Santa Fe.
Non-Transferable Registration: The admission pass is personal and non-transferable. The attendee guarantees the accuracy of the registered information.
Use of Image: The attendee authorizes AMGN and Tecnológico de Monterrey to use their image, voice, and recorded testimonials taken during the event in photographs, videos, or live broadcasts for institutional and academic media dissemination.
Code of Conduct: Professional and respectful behavior is required. The organization reserves the right of admission.
Modifications: The Organizers reserve the right to adjust the agenda or speakers due to force majeure or operational reasons.
